Boarding/Bathing

Many pet owners struggle to find options for dependable care for their dogs and cats when they have to go out of town. At Animal Medical Clinic, we have the perfect solution for pet parents who prefer having veterinary supervision to ensure a healthy, happy, comfortable stay.

Pet boarding is a service we provide to our clients; we offer dogs and cats indoor, climate-controlled boarding kennels in separate areas so that all visitors have a pleasant, stress-free stay. Our kennels can support large dogs as well as small dogs, and owners are welcome to bring along beds, blankets, and treats to make your pet feel more at home. Our caring staff members spend lots of quality time with each pet and take dogs on walks in our yard several times a day.

Because a sudden change in diet can cause digestive upset, we provide all guests with Science Diet that is nutritionally balanced food for sensitive stomachs, unless you bring your pet’s own food from home. We also administer medications and special diets when needed. Our staff monitors the appetite and urination/bowel movements of each canine and feline guest, and our veterinarians will be alerted if any problems are noted.

After an extended stay, to ensure that your pet goes home fresh and clean, we recommend a bath. We offer separate routine bathing services that you may want to take advantage of while your pet is staying with us. We also can provide therapeutic bathing, nail trims, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression. Please let us know if you care to have your pet bathed when you make your boarding reservation.

If you live in the Tri-Cities area and you need boarding services that you can trust, give us a call for more information, or come by and check us out. We recommend making reservations in advance, especially during the holidays and peak vacation times. All boarders are required to be up to date on their shots and parasite free. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday, and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Sundays.
